Smithfield police are investigating the theft of approximately 300 litres of diesel from three vehicles at a construction site on Reed Road, Trinity Park sometime between 5pm Tuesday August 18 and 6.30am yesterday. It is believed a 4WD has entered the construction site and siphoned diesel from fuel tanks and stolen a 12 watt battery and a UHF radio from another vehicle.
