Suder Montessori Magnet School, a Chicago public school, embraces the Montessori method in a public school setting. Beginning with the 2005-2006 school year, we have three pre-primary, multi-age classrooms to accommodate students ages 3-6 (pre-K and Kindergarten). Each class is staffed by a certified Montessori teacher and teacher assistant. We will continue to expand each year until 2013, serving pre-primary, primary (ages 6-9) and middle years' students (ages 9-13). Student enrollment will be limited to 27 students per classroom.

Our Mission
The main objective of Suder Montessori Magnet School is to provide a carefully planned, stimulating environment that will help children develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills, and ideas that are essential for a lifetime of creative thinking and learning.
