Sunshine 60 Building is situated at the end of Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. At the time of its completion in 1978 Sunshine 60 Building was the tallest building in East Asia, a title it held until 1985. Sunshine 60 Building was the tallest building in Japan until the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building was completed in 1991.
