Taste of Chicago

The Taste of Chicago is an annual tradition for the city held at Grant Park, typically during the 10-day period preceding the Fourth of July. It features the cuisine of nearly 100 local restaurants, great entertainment and a variety of exhibits and activities. The various restaurants set up shop in tents. The food options are too numerous to list, but you'll want to try one or more varieties of Chicago pizza and definitely some cheesecake. The Taste offers every ethnic food imaginable, corn on the cob, ice cream -- the list goes on and on. At any given time, the entertainment will be drawing crowds on multiple stages, with the biggest name acts playing at the Petrillo Music Shell. The Taste draws millions of visitors each year.
