The jump in bike lanes

The bike lanes switch from the right side of Comm Ave going inbound to the left side after the intersection with Charlesgate. This is difficult for bicycles to maneuver, especially if they don't catch a red light to move over in the bike box. Cars obviously find this troublesome, in some ways it's more dangerous!
