"Since 1986 The Haven has provided crisis shelter and services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assualt and stalking in the counties of the Northern Neck and Essex County." "Looking to the future, plans are underway to build a new and larger shelter. The Just Gardens tour has raised close to $50,000 in five years that will go directly toward construction of this new shelter."
