We study Doebringer (Codex H.S.3227a 1389), Talhoffer (1467); Joachim Meyer's "The art of combat" from ~1560; Le Jeu de la Hache (anon 15thc) for pole axe, and have been looking at some of the English manuals. Currently we are working with pole arms, longsword, Messer, Dagger, and grappling.

In medieval Europe, there were several fight guilds. There was the German Freifechter, the Federfechters, and the Marksbruder. The Lukasbruder, or The Brotherhood of Saint Luke was also one, and this is from where we take our name. This is a seriously intense group whose motto is "That which hurts, teaches" so you end up being a very smart fighter or you don't make it.
