Hotel Features. The Moderne Hotel is built of brick and brownstone, Art Deco architecture and Pop Art pieces. Lobby furnishings feature velvet curtains, dark wood panels, celery green chairs and a chrome gilded front desk. The hotel's second floor coffee lounge overlooks 55th Street and includes a computer station. The concierge is available to arrange for theater tickets or transportation. Guestrooms. All 37 guestrooms at the Moderne Hotel feature Warhol prints of Marilyn Monroe above white platform beds. Bedding offers bright velour pillows. Bathrooms offer green or beige marble countertops and provide premium international toiletries in eco friendly dispensers.
