Location. The three story Shula's Hotel is located in the Miami suburb of Miami Lakes (Fla.), just eight miles from Pro Player Stadium and 23 miles from both Fort Lauderdale and downtown Miami. The hotel is part of a 500 acre area which includes Shula's Golf Club and Main Street, a development brimming with shops, eateries and a movie theater.
Hotel Features. The hotel's garden front mezzanine includes 40 foot ceiling rafters, Spanish tiles and black and white sports photography. The sports themed steakhouse, Shula's Steak 2, showcases a video wall, is open for all three meals and serves a Sunday brunch. Vie de France is a sidewalk bakery cafe open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel features 15,000 square feet of meeting space, a 24 hour business center and complimentary high speed Internet access. A tennis racquet shaped outdoor pool and spa tub shaped like a tennis ball are surrounded by lush landscaping. A 44,000 square foot athletic club is located across the street, providing a fitness center, aerobics, yoga and Pilates classes, and tennis courts. Pampering treatments are available at the on site Spa at Shula's by Aveda.

Guestrooms. The guestrooms feature thick pillowtop mattresses, triple sheeting and down blankets. Amenities include complimentary newspapers, and high speed Internet access is offered for a fee. Turndown service and refrigerators are available upon request. Bathrooms feature Aveda toiletries and pedestal sinks.
