Police are investigating the theft of a Toyota station wagon from the Cairns CBD on Friday night. The vehicle had been parked on Abbott Street between Aplin and Florence Street and was stolen sometime between 7pm and 10.30pm. The vehicle was later located on fire on Spina Road near Kuranda. The 1991 Land Cruiser was completely destroyed as a result of the blaze.
