Police are investigating the theft of a 21 foot boat and trailer which had been parked behind an Aumuller Street business. It is believed that the vessel was removed sometime between Saturday May 1 and Tuesday May 4. The vessel is described as being a home-made aluminium centre console vessel which is green in colour. It is fitted with a 115hp Evinrude/Johnson outboard motor. The boat was on an unregistered home-made trailer with black mag wheels. If anyone spots the boat or trailer they should contact police.
