Police are investigating the theft of vehicle from the carpark of an Aumuller Street unit on Tuesday night. The theft occurred between 7.30 and 10.50pm and the vehicle was later recovered near a Manoora accommodation complex. Preliminary investigations indicate the vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition. Police are urging car owners to take basic vehicle security precautions in order to avoid falling victim to opportunistic offenders.
