Thieves target unlocked dwellings, Cairns North

Police are reminding residents to secure their dwellings after thieves gained easy entry to two adjoining units on the Cairns Esplanade on Wednesday morning. Entry in both cases was gained via closed but unlocked doors sometime between midnight and 8.00am. Cash, a purse and three bicycles were stolen as a result of the offences.
