Cairns Police charged a 39-year-old Whitfield man with one count each of drive an uninsured vehicle, unregistered vehicle, possess a dangerous drug, possession of syringes and fail to dispose of syringes. It is alleged the man was intercepted by police on Griffiths Street, Manoora at about 3.15am today and found in possession of a quantity of amphetamines and syringes. He will appear in the Cairns Magistrates court on May 26.
