A 28-year-old Gordonvale man is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on May 27 after he was allegedly involved in a traffic incident on the Bruce Highway at about 7.30pm last night. It is alleged that on being intercepted by Police the man returned a breath alcohol reading of .170%. He was charged with driving a motor vehicle whilst under the influence of liquor.
