A 32-year-old Manoora man faces numerous traffic related charges after being intercepted by Police on Sheridan Street on Tuesday afternoon. At about 3pm the man was pulled over after officers observed him rev his vehicle loudly and spin the rear wheels. The man allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of .156% and was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed driving and driving a vehicle in a manner creating unnecessary noise or smoke. His Nissan Skyline sedan was impounded and he is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrate’s Court on September 15. QP1000763487
