Transmed Oncology, Inc. is a biotechnology company that rapidly and efficiently develops basic medical discoveries into novel treatments for a variety of cancers. Our business model is the most rapidly growing business model of pharmaceutical development. It involves a limited team of dedicated individuals with broad-based experience shepherding drug candidates through the clinical and regulatory processes. Our business focuses the vast majority of investor resources on actual value-driving clinical development activities, and limits the use of resources on infrastructure and non-clinical activities.


Transmed Oncology, Inc. currently has two active clinical programs. They target two different mechanisms used by virtually all tumors to give themselves distinct growth advantages, namely the silencing of tumor-suppressing genes and the aberrant expression of tumor-promoting genes. The TMO-110 series is a family of small molecules which are the most potent inhibitors of the enzyme DNMT1 yet described; inhibiting the activity of this enzyme re-activates many silenced tumor-suppressing genes. The TMO-210 series are a family of small molecules which are the first-in-class inhibitors of the transcription factor CREB with demonstrated anti-tumor activity; inhibiting the activity of CREB turns off many tumor-promoting genes. Both clinical programs are entering the IND stage.
