Two arrested over break and enter, Portsmith

Police yesterday arrested a 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman after they allegedly broke in to a Hartley Street business and stole a filing cabinet and a safe, around 11 last evening. The Mount Sheridan pair has been charged with entering a premises and committing an indictable offence. The man is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today and the woman on July 8.
