UNDERPASS public art gallery opened March 2011 with an installation by Kim Beck: BLUE SKIES: This project lights up the underpass with a slice of a blue sky from a sunny day on the North Side of Pittsburgh.

In this large scale photograph, the everyday landscape is elevated by the size of the print. With a direct relationship to the neighborhood, this piece of blue sky connects the natural world to the built environment.
