Unlawful entries to motor vehicles, Cairns Beaches

Smithfield Police are urging residents to secure their vehicles following a recent spate of thefts from cars at Trinity Park and Clifton Beach. Five vehicles were targeted by offenders overnight on Sunday. Property including a laptop computer, navigational devices, a personal music player and small amounts of money were stolen from the vehicles. Investigations indicate that none of the vehicles had been secured at the time of the offences.
