Edmonton police were called to an Edmonton hotel located on the Bruce Highway after it was allegedly broken into and alcohol stolen around 11pm on Saturday evening. Police charged a 22-year-old Edmonton man with three counts of enter premises and commit an indictable offence and one count of possession of a utensil after patrols located a man at a nearby shopping centre a short time later. The man is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on September 30.
