Police have recovered a stolen red 1997 Holden Commodore at Woree overnight. The vehicle was stolen from a Ficus Close Redlynch carport sometime between 5pm Monday May 2 and 7.30am yesterday morning after another unlocked vehicle was entered and a backpack and keys to the Commodore were stolen. Police are reminding residents to secure their vehicles, remove valuables which include items such as keys, wallets and backpacks. Lock it or lose it to avoid being targeted by opportunistic thieves.
