Police have charged a 32-year-old Whiterock woman following an altercation that resulted in a 46-year-old man being allegedly stabbed with a knife around midnight Friday. Police attended the Kate Street address before Queensland Ambulance Service transported the man to the Cairns Base Hospital for treatment to non life threatening injuries. The 32-year-old has been charged with wounding is scheduled to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court on May 18.
