Vehicle damaged, Hargreaves Street, Edmonton

Police are investigating damage caused to a white Mitsubishi truck parked outside a Hargreaves Street residence at approximately 10.20pm last night. The offenders allegedly used a shovel located in the rear tray of the vehicle to smash the passenger’s side window before damaging both vehicle locks and also smashing the side mirror. The resident woke to the sound of smashing glass and upon further inspection saw two male persons standing next to his vehicle. The offenders fled in a southerly direction on Hargreaves Street, moments later witnesses heard a vehicle with a sports type exhaust start up and speed off.
