Police are investigating a vehicle fire that occurred at a Cleland Street home at Gordonvale yesterday morning. Around 1am a woman awoke to the sounds of crackling and breaking glass only to find her son’s vehicle alight. The vehicle was parked beneath the woman’s bedroom window. The occupants extinguished the flames with a garden hose prior to the arrival of police and the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service however the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
