Police are investigating two vehicle fires that occurred over the weekend in the suburbs of Manunda and Kanimbla. Late last night a grey 1987 Mazda sedan was found completely burnt out on MacFarlane Drive at Kanimbla. Police are attempting to establish who owns the vehicle and where it was stolen from. In the second incident offenders have set alight a 1998 Ford Falcon Station wagon at Stan Williams Park at Manunda. Witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion before seeing the vehicle alight. The vehicle had earlier been stolen from a Whiterock address.
