A 23-year-old Manoora man had his vehicle seized by police yesterday morning after he was intercepted driving on Denman Close around 11.15 allegedly committing several traffic offences.

The man was charged with repeat unlicenced driving, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving a vehicle with false registration plates. Police conducted inquiries into the identity of a passenger in the vehicle resulting in a 20-year-old Woree man being charged with entering a premises and committing assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and creating a public nuisance. Both men are scheduled to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court on September 30.
