Vehicle thefts and property stolen from vehicles, Cairns area

Police are again reminding car owners to deter opportunistic thieves by removing valuables and properly securing their vehicles after a number of thefts from motor vehicles and vehicle thefts during the weekend. Similarities drawn by police in the vehicle offences occurring from Edmonton to the Northern Beaches is that valuables in plain view are being left in unlocked vehicles, in two cases keys were also left inside the vehicles.
