With the decommisioning of the power plant and the building of new campgrounds nearby, these hot springs seems to have been reinvigorated with new interest and life; with a volunteer group popping up.
This used to be the site of a hot springs resort decades ago. The buildings of the town of Childs are now long gone . . . as well as the resort.
The developed pool is traditionally clothing optional with discretion advised as the website advises that the Forest Service and the sheriff can and will issue tickets for nudity.
