Location. A luxury boutique hotel with a great location in Midtown Manhattan, the Vincci Avalon is just two blocks from the Empire State Building. New York destinations such as Madison Square Garden and Fifth Avenue are less than four blocks away. The other boroughs of New York City are easily accessible by subway, with a Green Line station two blocks from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Within the Vincci Avalon's brass gilded entry, a reception area of dark marble columns, vibrant cherry wood paneling and a detailed mosaic floor makes a dignified impression on arriving guests. The hotel provides services commensurate with its atmosphere, such as valet parking, shoeshine and laundry services, and a multilingual concierge. Access to a modern fitness club and health spa located three blocks away is complimentary for Vincci Avalon guests. The hotel also maintains a library and club room. The bar hosts live jazz on select weekend nights. In the mornings, guests can enjoy a full breakfast buffett for a charge.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms are furnished with spacious desks and sitting areas with entertainment armoires, separated from the sleeping areas by translucent shoji style dividers. Both areas have their own televisions. Other in room amenities include minibars, coffeemakers and refrigerators. Beds are dressed in Egyptian linens, and body pillows are available upon request. Bathrooms are decked in marble and offer velour bathrobes.

Expert Tip. The hotel's eclectic Murray Hill neighborhood is worth exploring, with impressive Beaux Arts architecture and a diversity of shops and restaurants.
