Artist Jean Sbarra Jones and her husband Norman, a local actor, are the first people to ever live in the Daniel Low warehouse building located at 10 Derby Square in downtown Salem.
The renovated loft in the historic building is also an art gallery called Visions and Revisions, which features Jean’s original paintings.
ones is an award-winning artist who holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Boston University and has had her artwork shown all across the nation. She teaches painting at Gordon College, The Art Institute of Boston and the New England School of Art and Design.
The couple plans to host open houses about four times a year and will open the gallery up throughout the year by appointment.
