The Wausau Fire Department now carries at least 7 pet oxygen mask kits. Following the save of a dog using improvised mouth-to-snout resuscitation and a human non re-breather mask, the department made national news and received donation from 4 organizations in October 2011 through the Wag'N O2 Fur Life Program.
