Cairns Police charged a 17-year-old Cairns North man with one count each of receiving tainted property, possession of property suspected stolen, possession of a knife and possession of category R weapon namely an antipersonnel gas. It is alleged the man was found in possession of the property at about 7pm on January 2 when intercepted in relation to another matter. He will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on January 20.
