West Park is located close to downtown between Miller and Huron, Chapin and Seventh. The park contains a bandshell where concerts are given in the summer, a picnic shelter and restrooms, a playground, spray fountain, softball fields, a basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball posts, picnic tables and walking path. A historic pergola is located at the Miller entrance. Some of the most beautiful Oaks are located in the middle of the park near the picnic area. The Willow trees mark the location of Allen Creek which is now in a pipe underground. Parking is off Chapin.
