The West Cinema. Art Deco Style, built in 1941. Ornamentation is Greek in character and includes statues carved in bas-releif, tiled panels in Greek key pattern and acroteria along top of curved central pediment. Winner of the Georgia Trust Award for historic preservation in 1990. Today it is one of the finest examples of Art Deco style in Northwest Georgia.
