PTOC map made in 2003 (?). Fema fieldchecked the map. It is uneven -- some areas are fine, but then you'll come into a place where everything seems a bit off. The key technique is keeping an open mind and not getting frustrated when you bump into something unexpected.
Weston Bend is classic "loess" terrain -- steep hill sides with deep reentrants. The soil can be slippery (in particular when rain first begins or when the ground has been frozen but the temp is above freezing).
The world needs more loess terrain O' maps.
