The Old Shops of Timsbury

This shop was run by Frederick Trebble as a drapers between 1927 and 1931.

In 1931 it was taken over by Mr and Mrs Whittle. They ran and lived over the shop for many years. It was an outfitters. Later Mr Whittle came out from Bath each day to run the shop.

In 1964, at the time of the fire next door in the fish and chip shop, Bryn Parsons had it as a drapery shop. Later Joan Pierce ran the shop for a while. Then the Durk family ran a video rental shop.
