Wildwood Valley
Category: Abandoned Ski Areas
**October 2009**
Trails: Still discernible a little bit, but definitely going back to nature. Still, the harsh environment of the Northeast Kingdom makes new growth a little bit slower.
Lifts: The T-bar is still most likely in place, though was difficult to see from the woods.
Facilities: The base lodge apparently burned down some time ago, but a private home and shed that may or may not have been associated with the ski area still sits on the property today. An old, faded, and out-of-commission propane tank sat in a field across the street from the ski area and was most likely associated with the ski area.
Accessibility: Despite the ruralness of the area, both sides of Toad Pond Road are heavily posted for the entire length of the road, including the area where the ski area was. Not recommended for exploring as its basically sitting in someone's backyard now.
