Via the Piedra Blanca Trailhead at the Lions Campground on the Sespa River, the hike is approx 10 miles one-way. The springs are located up a canyon on the north side of the river. There is a couple of shacks and the foundation of a longgone house near the Sespe where you pick up the trail to the springs.
The springs are a natural source flowing into a large 9ft diameter black hard rubber tub about three feet deep.
