The Winnisquam FFA chapter addressed the issue of hunger in their community with the creation of a greenhouse and partnerships with community gardens to provide fresh produce for the community as well as the local food pantry. FFA members created greenhouse to begin to grow seedlings to donate to those people who participate in Franklin's two community gardens. A portion of the garden output is also donated to the CAP which operates the local food pantry.
