Proposed realignment of the W&OD to the original rail right-of-way, reclaiming unused Dominion Power right-or-way between intersection of Virginia Ln/Shreve Rd to new tunnel under I-66. This improvement avoids the steep grade detour to and from the Virginia Ln bridge. The old detour path can stay as a side trail to access the ballpark. This improvement should have been required as part of the HOT lanes project.
