This multiuse trail serves several purposes. It defines a contiguous green buffer separating the Tysons Corner urban center from the lower density residential neighborhoods to the West. It connects Freedom Hill Park and Raglan Road Park through existing open space (Town of Vienna water tower property). It provides a bike route to Wolf Trap Park across a new Toll Road tunnel or overpass and using existing neighborhood trails.
