Edmonton detectives charged a 21-year-old Woree woman with dishonesty offences yesterday following an investigation into a fraud complaint. It is alleged that the woman accessed the bank account of a 20-year-old female acquaintance over a period of almost a year and conducted numerous transactions. She was charged with 48 counts of dealing with identification for the purpose of committing an offence as well as 48 counts of fraud. She is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 21.
