Woman stabbed, Bungalow

Detectives are investigating the stabbing of a 39-year-old woman at a residence on Aumuller Street around 8.30 last night. The woman received a number of stab wounds to her torso and was taken to hospital for treatment, her injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police believe the offender was known to the victim and that the incident was the result of an argument between the two. A 32-year-old woman is assisting police with their inquiries.
