Summary of Goals
• Writing Matters plans to create professional development and service learning opportunities such as an annual academic conference for undergraduate writing center tutors within the eight-campus Kent State University system, and a colleges and universities throughout northeast Ohio. The organization has already begun development of a website, e-mail listserv, and professional conference venues for writing center tutors.
