Youth arrested after damage spree, Cairns

Detectives from the Cairns Child Protection and Investigations Unit have arrested and charged a 15-year-old Koah youth in relation to the alleged willful damage of two cars and some house lighting yesterday. Police allege the youth attended a residence in Woomera Street, Bayview Heights where he became involved in a dispute with another person. He then allegedly walked out to the street and damaged two cars and some lights at the front of a neighbouring residence. The teenager is due to appear in the Cairns Children’s Court next month.
