Detectives from the Cairns Child Protection and Investigation Unit have arrested a 15-year-old Whitfield girl in relation to the alleged theft of a purse from a female shopper at a Manoora shopping centre last Saturday. The youth was arrested and charged yesterday and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
