Youth arrested over burglary offences

Detectives from the Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged a 14-year-old Bentley Park boy following investigations into a number of alleged offences in the Edmonton and White Rock areas. The youth was charged with serious assault, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, obstructing police and two counts of each of entering a premises and committing an indictable offence and trespassing. He is scheduled to appear at the Cairns Children’s court this month.
