Youth charged over numerous offences

Detectives from the Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged a 16-year-old Cairns male following investigations into a number of vehicle and property offences in Mount Sheridan, Manoora, Cairns North and Whitfield areas since June this year. Police charged the youth with three counts of burglary, two counts of stealing and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of suspected stolen property and enter premises and commit indictable offence. He is due to appear at the Cairns Children’s Court this month.
