Youth charged over numerous offences, Cairns

Detectives from the Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged a 12-year-old boy following investigations into a number of alleged break and enter and drug related offences in the Cairns area in June and August this year. The boy was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of entering premises, and one count each of stealing, wilful damage, possession of tainted property, trespassing, drug possession and possession of a utensil. He is scheduled to appear at the Cairns Children’s Court this month. QP1000788647
